The Beginning of Something Wonderful!
At For the Love of Dogs, we don't just love our pets. We love to cook, and we also love tradition. It's a gloomy, rainy day here in Ohio....a day just calling for Apple Crisp. While many people enjoy apple crisp, it's more than just a dessert in our family. As a child, my mom made this all the time in the Fall and it was something we always enjoyed. As an adult, I tried many different apple crisp recipes and they just never lived up to the one Mom made. I finally asked her for her tried-and-true recipe and I have never looked back! I now make this for my own family during the Fall and they LOVE it! It's become a comfort food (I'm actually making it today because one of my kids is having a bad day and asked for apple crisp for when he gets home from school), it makes me think of my Mom, and it's just DELICIOUS!!!!
So, throw away all of your apple crisp recipes and try this one. You won't be sorry!
